Lab Grown Diamonds widely known as HPHT Diamonds or CVD diamonds are the two common production methods (referring to the high-pressure high-temperature and chemical vapor deposition, respectively. The first method could grow bigger diamonds compared to other methods however doesn't suffice the need of producing type IIa diamonds. Both CVD and HPHT diamonds can be cut into gems and various colors can be produced: clear white, yellow, brown, blue, green and orange. Chemical vapor deposition is a method by which diamond can be grown from a hydrocarbon gas mixture. The CVD growth involves substrate preparation, feeding varying amounts of gases into a chamber and energizing them.
